Pulmonology Essentials for the SLP

It is critical for SLPs to have an understanding of the respiratory system, including imaging and other test results and how they can guide SLP practice. In this self-paced webinar, a Pulmonologist educates SLPs about terminology and key concepts related to chest imaging; pulmonary testing; and other pulmonology topics. He then explains the importance of SLP + Pulmonology collaboration.

What you'll learn

  • Common findings on chest imaging
  • Information a pulmonary function test (PFT) provides
  • How SLP and pulmonology can collaborate in patient care

"Very thorough. I didn't know what I didn't know!

I was able to ID those things and have a better understanding."

"This is by far one of the most helpful courses I have taken. It is difficult to find courses for SLPs on pulmonology that do more than cover the most basic concepts. I cannot overstate how helpful this course is."

"The visuals were great with him drawing on them to highlight areas. Helped me understand what I was seeing so much better!"
